Job summary

MMD Community Care LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one support to adults with disabilities in New Jersey. You will assist with daily living tasks, community integration, and health-related activities under agency supervision.

The role emphasizes compassion, safety, and dignity, with a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in English (read, write & comprehension).
• CPR/FA certification required.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist consumers with daily living activities and community living skills.
• Plan and participate in recreational activities of the participant's choosing.
• Administer medication following procedures if applicable.
• Support independence and community inclusion.
• Provide care in consumer's residence or in the community.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of consumer belongings and environment.
