Job summary

Thomas Allen inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for Emerson, to empower individuals in a residential and community setting. Part-time roles include Saturday and Sunday shifts, 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm (Week 1 and Week 2), with hourly wages ranging from $18.00 to $21.00.

Sleep/Overnight rates are $11.41 per hour. DSPs will provide person-centered support, assist with daily routines, document progress, and help with medical needs and community integration.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Clear criminal background clearance required.
• Active U.S. driver’s license.
• High School proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and mobility support.
• Successful completion of Medication Administration Training provided by Thomas Allen inc.

Responsibilities

• Implement person-centered supports to empower individuals.
• Document activities and progress per policies and regulations.
• Assist with daily routines and personal cares.
• Support medical needs including medication administration and appointments.
• Coordinate meal preparation and dietary safety.
• Provide training and engage individuals in meaningful activities.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and respond to inquiries.
