The role emphasizes enhancing independence, life skills, and community participation while supporting daily living activities and safety. CPR/First Aid, US work authorization, and a background check are required, with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (visa if applicable).
• Background check clearance required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience.

Responsabilités

• Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Support participation in community activities and recreation.
• Accompany to appointments, shopping, or social outings.
• Encourage skills for community engagement (money management, transportation, social interaction).
• Implement and document individualized support plans and ISP outcomes.
• Teach and reinforce skills for independence (cooking, budgeting, safety).
• Support communication and self-advocacy efforts.
• Report incidents or concerns to supervisor promptly.
