Job summary

Access Services is seeking a caring and patient Direct Support Professional to support adults with developmental disabilities in Harleysville, Hatfield, North Wales, and Lansdale. Paid training is provided; no experience is required.

You will assist in home and community settings, following each individual's plan of care and engaging in ongoing training. This full-time role starts at $17/hour and offers benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one year of direct care experience preferred.
• Willingness to complete background checks and driving history review.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professionals assist individuals with developmental intellectual disabilities in the region where you serve.
• Provide supports as outlined in the individual's plan of care using approved interventions.
• Maintain appropriate case notes for the individuals served.
• Engage in supervision, training, and professional development.
