Job summary

You will assist with life skills, health, and independent living tasks, coordinate with caregivers and Medicaid plans, and help clients engage with the community. A valid Arkansas driver's license, a background check, and required trainings (CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving) are required; starting pay is $13 per

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED with at least one year relevant experience; or two years’ experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid Arkansas driver's license and auto liability insurance.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Effective communication with individuals and ability to follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in building essential life skills, hygiene, and independent living.
• Foster a positive, respectful home and community environment.
• Assist with daily routines per the Medicaid Waiver Person-Centered Service Plan.
• Facilitate community engagement through activities, appointments, and events.
• Provide safe transportation using your own vehicle (maintain AR insurance requirements).
• Maintain records of consumer expenses and progress.
• Offer input during annual service planning meetings.
• Complete required trainings including CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving, and in-service sessions.
• Submit weekly documentation and timesheets on time.
