Team Lead – Creative Foundations (Direct Support Services)

Location: Ashland, OH

Full-Time | Pay: Starting at $20/hr

Are you ready to make a meaningful difference while leading with compassion? Creative Foundations is currently hiring a Team Lead to support our mission of empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives.

As a Team Lead, you’ll serve as both a mentor and a hands-on support professional. You’ll work closely with the individuals we serve, providing daily assistance, while also guiding and coaching a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to ensure the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a respectful, person-centered manner
• Lead and support a team of DSPs, including training, scheduling, and performance feedback
• Communicate regularly with Service Coordinators, families, and administrative staff
• Ensure documentation is accurate and timely according to agency and regulatory standards
• Promote inclusion, independence, and safety in all activities and environments
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in the field of developmental disabilities (DSP experience preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
• Must be 21+ years of age with a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
• Must pass background checks and meet training requirements.
• Must have open availability including evenings and weekends.
