Job summary

Prairie Community Services in Redwood Falls, MN is seeking a part-time Direct Support Provider to supervise and assist individuals in daily living, recreation, and community orientation.

You will help with meal prep, medication management, and safety, following person-centered plans. Strong communication in English and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 years of age or older.
• Must pass DHS background clearance.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must read, write, and understand English while conducting company business.
• Read and follow each person served’s program plans and procedures.
• Deliver support based on person-centered services.
• Administer CPR/First Aid when needed.
• Chart daily program information.

Description

As a Direct Support Provider, you will provide supervision, care and safety to individuals being served that include, but are not limited to, areas of daily living, recreation, community orientation, medication management, meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning. Starting wage $16.75-$17.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 17 years of age or as dictated by licensure.


• Must pass DHS background clearance.


• Must have valid driver’s license.


• Must be able to read, write, communicate and understand the English language while conducting company business.


• Read, comprehend, and follow each person served’s program related plans and procedures.


• Deliver support to the person served on principles of person-centered services.


• Administer CPR/First Aid when needed.
