The role focuses on promoting independence, life skills, and community engagement through hands-on assistance with ADLs, budgeting, and personal safety. Ideal candidates have CPR/First Aid certification, at least 1 year of healthcare experience, and authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsabilidades

• Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, cooking, cleaning and personal hygiene.
• Support individuals in accessing and participating in community activities, and recreation.
• Accompany individuals to appointments, shopping, or social outings as needed.
• Encourage skill-building for community engagement (e.g., money management, transportation use, social interaction).
• Implement and document individualized support plans and goals (ISP outcomes).
• Teach and reinforce skills that promote independence, such as cooking, budgeting, and personal safety.
• Support communication and self-advocacy efforts.
• Report any incidents, changes in condition, or concerns to the supervisor promptly.
