Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist clients with daily living, ISPs, and social integration. You will provide compassionate support, help with hygiene, meal prep, and transportation; administer medications as directed and maintain accurate care records.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid training to be completed through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility).
• Implement ISP plans aligned with clients’ goals.
• Provide companionship and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor health per guidelines.
• Support transportation to appointments and community outings.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral plans.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Prior experience with developmental disabilities (strongly preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Required training certifications such as CPR and First Aid to be completed through approved providers.
