Job summary

AEDD is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a Male Group Home in Little Rock, AR. The role involves supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living and community activities, with weekend shifts Sat/Sun 7 AM–7 PM.

Starting pay is $15/hour, negotiable based on education and experience; this is a safety-sensitive position. Must have a valid AR driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and complete CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving, and in-service trainings.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; 1 year of relevant experience.
• Or 2 years of verifiable experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid Arkansas driver’s license and auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in developing life skills.
• Foster a positive home and community environment.
• Assist with daily routines per Medicaid Plan.
• Help individuals engage with their community through activities.
• Provide safe transportation using your personal vehicle.
• Maintain records of consumer expenses and progress.
• Submit weekly documentation and timesheets on time.
