Job summary

Out of the Box Solutions, LLC in Oregon seeks Direct Support Professionals to work one-on-one with individuals with ID/DD, supporting daily routines, community involvement, and personal goals.

Applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year caregiving experience, a valid driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain. Pay is $24/hour with a flexible schedule and benefits.

Client 1:

• Male | 11yrs | 97223
• Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00am-10:00am (Flexible: Can be 8am-10am or 7am-9am)
• Likes: His parents are important to him, He enjoys straws and other sensory activities (sensory sandy and water), Enjoys music and movement, he enjoys being active and receiving that one on one care. He enjoys games and playing with balloons, making tasks fun, and doing outside activities
• Needs: Encourage exploration outside the home, keep in mind that client benefits from interaction with his pressure points, leg weights, weighted vest, swings, and chewies, Specifically looking for someone to assist with his morning routine before therapy appointments.

Requirements

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Must be able to successfully pass all state-required background checks and meet all ODDS employment eligibility requirements.
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)
