Job summary

Wall Residences is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Supported Living and In-Home Care services in the Roanoke area. The role involves assisting individuals with daily tasks, personal care, and transportation to appointments. Training (First Aid, CPR, CMRT, medication administration, and documentation) is provided.

Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred, and evening/weekend flexibility is required. Employment is full-time with an emphasis on community integration.

Wall Residences provides high-quality community services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking a full-time, experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Supported Living and In-Home Care services in the Roanoke area.

Bilingual candidates with English and Spanish preferred.

Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends and be available for occasional on-call work as needed.

Our In-Home and Supported Living Care DSP's assist individuals with domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, meal planning, cooking, and organizing. Help individuals enrich their own lives through exploring volunteer opportunities, support personal care needs, providing transportation and any needed advocacy for medical/dental appointments, and assisting with medication administration.

Paid training provided by Wall Residences may include First Aid & CPR, CMRT (Crisis Management & Response Training), Medication Administration, DSP Training, and documentation training.
