Job summary

Venture Community Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals to empower adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily living, community participation, errands, meals, and personal care while following individual plans and safety protocols.

Shifts include Sun, Thur, Fri, and Sat with a total schedule of 32.5 hours per week. Pay is $17.50–$19 per hour with paid training, a $1000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff and $500 for part-time employees.

• Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives.
• Able to work creatively and collaboratively as a member of a care team.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with IDD to participate in daily activities.
• Assist with household tasks, meals, transportation, shopping, and personal care.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans; accompany to medical appointments.
• Help individuals engage with the community and maintain safety.
