Options For All in San Diego is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help adults with disabilities build independence and engage fully in their communities. You will support daily activities, personal goals, and life skills while promoting dignity and inclusion.

Join a mission-driven team that values respect, teamwork, and flexible scheduling, with driving between City Heights and Downtown as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass a background check.
• Experience in caregiving, social work, life skills coaching, education, or volunteering is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily activities, personal goals, and life skills.
• Encourage independence, dignity, and community inclusion.
• Build positive relationships with individuals, families, caregivers, and community partners.
• Plan meaningful and engaging activities based on each person’s goals and interests.
• Help individuals connect with their communities through work, volunteer, and social opportunities.
• Follow health and safety practices to provide high-quality support.
• Complete documentation using basic mobile and computer systems.
