Job summary

AccessCNY is seeking a Direct Support Professional for residential services in Chittenango, NY. This role supports participants with ADLs, safety, advocacy, and community connections.

The position offers multiple schedules including part-time, full-time and overnight, with an hourly pay range of $21.03–$24.06. A high school diploma or GED and some disability-care experience are preferred. Driving is often required.

Qualifications

Direct Support Professional, Residential - New and Increased Hourly Wage

Reports to: Individual Residential Alternative (IRA) Program Manager

Location: Chittenango, NY

Schedule: Part Time, Full Time and Overnight Schedules Available

Pay: $21.03 - $24.06Hourly

Working closely with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health, we support 27 housing locations and 3 administrative buildings.

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive employee to assist participants with their personal needs and Activities of Daily Living (ADL); monitoring their health and safety; helping them to increase self-advocacy, decision making, and community connections.

Education/Experience:

Conditions of Employment

Must possess a valid driver’s license and transportation necessary to meet program needs. Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
