Job summary

LIFESPAN is hiring Direct Support Professionals to support people with disabilities in home and community settings. No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training and ongoing development to help you grow within our supportive team.

As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll promote independence, help with daily activities, meals, and personal care, and support social inclusion. We offer competitive pay and flexible schedules including full- and part-time opportunities.

Training is provided. Nursing team supports you.Provide transportation to and from designated sites.Assist people with mobility needs, e.g. utilize transfer techniques, a Hoyer lift and/or gait belt. Training is provided.What you need:Must be at least 18 years of agePossess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of two consecutive yearsPass criminal record and healthcare registry checkPass driving record check if providing transportationHigh school graduate or equivalent (GED)Commitment to achieve competency in required knowledge, skills, and abilitiesNote: Current First Aid/CPR blended or classroom certification is required.
