Job summary

RISE Ltd. is seeking PRN Direct Support Professionals in Elkader and Oelwein, IA to provide flexible, shift-based support to individuals with disabilities.

DSPs assist with daily living skills, personal care, medications, transportation, and community activities, while documenting care and outcomes. No fixed weekly schedule—great for a flexible second job. Training is provided, and positions are available across programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to complete required background checks.
• Willingness to learn and provide training.
• Excellent communication with clients, coworkers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills and personal care.
• Support individuals with medications and transportation.
• Participate in community activities and household tasks.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.

As a PRN Direct Support Professional, you'll have the flexibility to pick up available shifts that work with your schedule. PRN is a great option for someone looking for a flexible second job, additional hours, or an opportunity to work without committing to a regular weekly schedule. Available shifts may include days, evenings, and weekends across RISE Ltd. programs.

But this is more than just a flexible job. As a Direct Support Professional, you'll spend your time working alongside some pretty great people. DSPs support individuals with disabilities in building independence, reaching personal goals, developing life skills, participating in their communities, and doing the things that are important to them.

Depending on the program and shift, responsibilities may include assisting with daily living skills, personal care, medications, transportation, community activities, household tasks, documentation, and other individualized supports.
