Job summary

Service Alternatives is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Tacoma, WA to empower adults with developmental disabilities, support life skills, and promote independence in their own homes. No experience required; training provided.

Starting wage ranges from $21.45 to $22.45 hourly with benefits including 401(k), health/dental/vision, and flexible scheduling. Relief/part-time shifts available; driver license and access to a vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clear criminal history and pass a background check.
• Be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check
• Be at least 18 or older

Licensing and Certifications:

• Currentlyhave or within 30 days of being hired CPR/First Aid license (paid by SA)
• Current driver license, car, and car insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current NAR (1st year paid by SA)
• Current 75-hour certification (Long-Term Care Worker) or exemption letter.
