Job summary

Lehigh Valley Companion Care Homes is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate care in our Whitehall, PA homes. This part-time role includes assisting with personal care, administering medications, and promoting independence in a supportive setting.

The DSP will engage residents in activities, monitor health, and follow individualized care plans. Training is provided, with paid training and opportunities for development; flexible scheduling after three weeks of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications are a plus).
• Previous experience in direct care is preferred but not required; training is provided.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina and ability to assist with transfers and other care needs.
• Paid training and opportunities for professional development.
• A supportive and collaborative work environment.
