Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving personal goals and improving quality of life. The role includes daily living support, possible transportation, and documenting progress in a safe environment.

Competitive weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities are provided. CPR/FA, NCI/CPI training, and a high school diploma or GED are required, along with a valid driver’s license.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR/FA certification required.
• NCI/CPI Training.
• TB screening.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal prep, and household chores.
• May transport clients to and from community activities.
• Support individuals in achieving their developmental goals and fostering independence.
• Encourage community participation and accompany individuals on outings and social activities.
• Document observations and progress on goals and ensure a safe environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• NCI/CPI Training

• Active driver's license
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in the English language required
• Technological proficiency including mobile devices for documentation
• Must be at least 18 years of age
