Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is seeking a caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities. Pay is $18.40 per hour. Schedule: Mondays and Fridays 2:00 PM–10:00 PM and every other weekend 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

A valid driver's license is required. You’ll help with personal care, community participation, budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. We value compassion, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record as per Sevita policy.
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants to engage in community activities and reach developmental goals.
• Develop meaningful relationships and provide compassionate care.
• Encourage budgeting, exercise, and nutrition goals with participants.
• Collaborate with supervisors and care teams to ensure participant wellbeing.

This position requires someone who has a Driver's License for at least one year (post-permit) and a clean Motor Vehicle Registration record that meets Sevita's insurability policy.
