Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our Yardley, PA team. No experience required — we provide paid training and support individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings, helping them grow independence and daily living skills. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, full-time (40 hours/week).

Qualifications

Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
Experience in a home health aid, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily hygiene and personal care.
Foster independence by teaching daily living activities.
Support social and communication skills in various settings.
Follow Individual Support Plan to create long-term consumer impact.
