Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Caregivers, Direct Care Staff, and Home Health Aides to provide person-centered support in Stroudsburg, PA. Paid training is provided; NADSP credentials can boost bonuses.

Starting pay is $17.25 per hour. Positions include full-time, part-time, and PRN options with opportunities for professional growth and community-based involvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports.
• Employment contingent upon background checks and related screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily routines including cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
• Monitor health and report concerns.
• Assist with learning and development of independent and community-based skills.
• Participate in community, social, and recreational activities with individuals.
• Drive individuals to medical appointments and community activities.
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely.
• Build a support network with community members, businesses, and families.
• Additional tasks may be assigned.
• Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections.
