Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Caregivers, Direct Care Staff, and Home Health Aides in Havertown, PA to provide person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We offer paid training, opportunities for growth, competitive benefits, and several types of positions (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN). Starting pay is $18.60 per hour with a strong support network and enrollment in a retirement plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to establish a supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports.
• Ability to stay calm in crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily routines including cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns.
• Support learning and development of independent and community-based skills.
• Participate in community, social, and recreational activities.
• Transport individuals to medical appointments and community activities.
• Complete program documentation and billing records accurately and timely.
• Build and maintain relationships with community members, businesses, and families.
