Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services in Middletown, OH seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for 1st & 2nd shifts. Pay is $17.50-$18.50 per hour with walk-ins and open interviews at our Middletown office.

Training is provided, and no prior experience is required, making it accessible for individuals starting a career in healthcare. Interviewing weekly, bring required documents and be prepared for on-site interviews.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals served.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety needs are met.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.
