Community Options, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Caregivers, Direct Care Staff and Home Health Aides in Hazelton, PA to provide person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

No experience required—we provide PAID training and opportunities for professional growth. Starting pay is $17.25 per hour with competitive benefits, generous PTO, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide direct care to individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations.
• Background checks and drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily routines including cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and hygiene.
• Monitor health needs and report concerns.
• Develop independent and community-based skills in individuals.
• Participate in community, social, and recreational activities.
• Transport individuals to appointments and activities.
