Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Pennsylvania program, supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to live with dignity and independence in daily life.

No Experience Required – We provide PAID Training. Earn $18/hour with the selection of our enhanced Pay option. Our dedicated team fosters mentoring, coaching and compassionate care to help clients reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. is preferred.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities to enhance independence.
• Provide encouragement, mentoring, and coaching to help individuals reach goals.
• Supervise and document residents’ progress under House Manager oversight.

Skills

18+ age requirement

Valid driver’s license

HS diploma/GED

Experience in HHA/IDD setting
