Job summary

The New Jersey Institute for Disabilities (NJID) is hiring Overnight Direct Support Professionals to assist residents with daily living activities in a residential setting. You must be awake during your shift.

Location: Old Bridge, NJ. Hours include Thurs 10pm-8am, Fri and Sat 10pm-9am, with other shifts available. Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities across Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Somerset Counties.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license in good standing and insurable through NJID's automobile insurance.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist and supervise activities related to daily living skills.
• Administer or assist with prescribed medication.
• Light housekeeping.
• Assist with transportation.
• Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives.
• Data entry using Therap (EHR).
• Assist residents in pursuing recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans.
