Job summary

WellLife Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with developmental disabilities in homes and communities across New York. You will provide hands-on care, advocacy, and support to help individuals live more independently and participate in community activities.

The role covers daily living tasks, health support, mobility assistance, and collaboration with healthcare teams, with emphasis on respectful, person-centered care and documentation of progress.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent English for client communication.
• New York State Driver’s License may be required for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Administer medications as directed and support medical appointment attendance.
