Wendell Foster in Owensboro, KY is hiring Direct Support Professionals for an Intermediate Care Facility. This role offers 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM–6:30 AM) three days per week plus every other weekend, with part-time and PRN opportunities.

The position features a starting hourly rate of $16.00 with a $2.00 night differential, overtime, paid holidays, PTO, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, EAP, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
• First aid and CPR certification (training provided).
• Effective communication with staff and individuals.

Mansioni

• Assist individuals with daily living tasks including dressing, bathing, toileting and hygiene.
• Support safety and well-being; respect individuals' rights.
• Assist with mobility and occasional meal preparation per dietary plan.
• Lift up to 75 lbs during care when needed.

Essential Functions:

Support our individuals direct care needs including, but not limited to:

• Getting dressed, assisting with baths and showering, toileting and hygiene needs, feeding, Assist with walking and/or wheelchair mobility, occasionally preparing meals and snacks per dietary card
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.
• Understand individual’s rights and display respect and dignity when interacting with individuals.
• Frequently lift and/or move 50lbs; occasionally lift and/or move 75lbs while assisting a person with movement or direct care
