Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges live more independently. You will support daily activities, follow person-centered plans, and promote safety and dignity.

No experience is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training, competitive pay, and benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision, 401k, and DailyPay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals who have mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
• Preferred: 1–2 years of healthcare, social services, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and care to individuals, following person-centered and behavior plans.
• Create a safe, trusted environment while upholding residents’ rights.
• Assist with meal preparation, laundry and housekeeping duties as needed.
• Transport individuals to appointments and advocate on their behalf.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure correct dosages.
• Remain available in homes requiring around-the-clock care.
• Support daily activities, life skills, and social engagement.
