Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living in Minnesota is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily life, helping them achieve independence in a safe, supportive environment.

You will participate in daily activities, prepare meals, transport to appointments, and document care while receiving training and opportunities for growth through our LEAP program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills and personal care.
• Support community engagement and recreational activities.
• Prepare meals and maintain a clean, organized home environment.
• Transport individuals to appointments and community activities.
• Administer medications as directed (training provided).
• Maintain accurate documentation and advocate for individuals served.
