Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide person-centered care in a residential setting in Little Falls, MN. You will build meaningful relationships, support daily living activities, and help residents pursue their goals with dignity and respect.

The role offers part-time shifts (including weekends) with opportunities for wage growth after six months and a $2,500 hiring bonus.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or formal education required; training provided.
• Comfort with basic computer use to document care
• Ability to read and write in English for clear communication
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record
• Ability to pass a DHS background check

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships while providing guidance, encouragement, and support
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, hygiene, meals, cleaning, and transportation
• Support community involvement, social connections, and independent living skills
• Advocate for rights and preferences of people with identified needs
• Monitor health and report changes as needed
• Complete required documentation and participate in training and team meetings
• Work in a residential group home setting supporting up to 4 people
• Collaborate in a mission-driven team focused on dignity, respect, and inclusion
