Riverside Industries is hiring a Direct Support Professional for LIFE ENRICHMENT in Easthampton, MA. The role provides direct care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, and support for goal achievement.

Shifts include Per Diem and full-time options, with training on assistive equipment and non-violent intervention techniques. Prior experience is not required; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Direct Support Professional – LIFE ENRICHMENT Easthampton, MA. Day Shift - Monday-Friday - $21.00/hour to start.

Join our Life Enrichment Team to provide meaningful hands‑on support through personal care, therapeutic activities, skills‑building, advocacy and community participation.

We are actively hiring Direct Support Professionals to join our dedicated team.. This position provides direct care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As part of the direct care , you will assist with feeding, toileting, and other personal hygiene needs. We will train you to operate assistive equipment (lifts and wheelchairs, etc.) in order to further support the people we provide services to. There may be occasions when non‑violent intervention techniques must be implemented – you will be taught by our certified trainers. Experienced Direct Care Workers, as well as CNAs, LPNs, PCAs, Teaching Assistants, and Paraprofessionals are encouraged to apply. Excellent communication skills are imperative, and you must be comfortable engaging and interacting with the people we serve, their families and colleagues.

Body mechanics and strength requirements are needed when working with and assisting individuals utilizing wheelchairs, gait belts, lifts, or mat work.

Shifts: Per Diem, 32‑hours full time; 37.5 hours full time; 40 hours full time (includes afternoon driving or monitoring shift on a Riverside van)

• 3 years of driving experience, and an excellent driving record preferred
• Able to pass a pre‑employment CORI, SORI, and Fingerprinting
