Position Overview

Advocates is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Mentor/DSP/1:1 support staff) to support a bright and active young man with a developmental disability. He and his family are looking for a Mentor to assist him with working on his goals both at home and in his community.

Seeking a DSP who is reliable, enthusiastic, creative, active, and willing to provide some personal care (assistance in the restroom). Related experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required. Please respond with resume or summary of experience.

Candidate must possess a keen sense of attention to detail, especially when electronically logging each day’s time, mileage, and service documentation. DSP must have a valid email address.

Hours and Days of Work

Weekdays (9 AM - 4 PM). Full-time opportunities may be available.

Pay Rate

Direct support: $24 per hour. Indirect/training: $16 per hour.
