Job summary

Keystone Human Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide person-directed support to adults with intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, and autism in Connecticut. The role focuses on inclusion and helping individuals thrive in the community.

The DSP will assist with daily living skills, personal care, and advocacy to promote health and wellbeing, in a supportive team environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Effective communication and basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license with daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.
• Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications.

Responsibilities

• Support adults by creating a healthy and engaging home setting and teaching daily living skills.
• Advocate for the health and wellness of the people we support.
• Assist with personal care and daily activities to promote independence.
