Job summary

Accord is seeking a mission-driven Direct Service Professional (DSP) to join our Day Supports Team in Midway St. Paul for daily living activities and supportive care for people living with disabilities. This is a fully in-person role with hours from 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday.

The DSP will help participants develop skills, manage daily routines, document progress, and promote self-determination. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, background checks, and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED.
• Pass mandated background checks.
• Comfort using Microsoft and Google platforms.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to participants in the Accord day program.
• Assist individuals with learning and developing new skills and achieving personal goals.
• Build relationships with Day Support adults and deliver programming.
• Develop community support plans and goals for individuals in caseload.
• Document support plans, activities, and progress toward goals.
• Administer medications and monitor medical conditions.
• Support self-determination and independence.
