Job summary

Sevita is seeking compassionate direct care professionals to join the ResCare Community Living team in Virginia. You will assist individuals with developmental disabilities to live independently, providing personal care and support during an 8am–8pm rotating shift with every other Fri/Sat/Sun off.

You’ll help with daily activities, budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and you’ll build meaningful relationships within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with their personal hygiene.
• Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
