Charles Lea Center in Calabash, NC is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help people with disabilities live independently in client homes. DSPs provide daily living assistance, document progress, and support community activities with a focus on safety and dignity.

This role offers competitive pay, a 2nd shift bonus, and opportunities for paid training and growth within a supportive team environment.

Formación

• Minimum age 18 and high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred (DSP, CNA, PCA, RBT, Med Tech, Caregiver).
• Valid driver’s license and Social Security number required.
• Basic computer and documentation skills are required.
• Ability to pass background and reference checks.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with daily living skills, grooming, meals, personal care, and medication administration.
• Support individuals in activities, community outings, and skill-building.
• Promote independence and dignity in every interaction.
• Document daily notes, training steps, and updates in Therap.
• Communicate important information to supervisors and team members.
• Follow safety, infection control, and agency policies.
• Maintain professionalism, teamwork, and positive interactions.
