Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate care in a residential setting for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily activities, meals, recreation, and learning activities, while upholding person-centered planning.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a starting pay of $18.35 per hour, with increases after medication certification. A valid driver's license and HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Empathy, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills; Therap software is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities, including household chores, meal preparation, recreational activities, learning activities, and physical fitness.
• Represent the needs and interests of individuals served and provide input on program planning and implementation.
