Job summary

We Do Life...Together in Waterbury, CT is seeking an entry-level Direct Support Professional to help individuals lead their best lives in residential and vocational settings. You’ll assist with daily living, transportation, medical and behavioral appointments, documentation, and safe caregiving.

This part-time, first-shift role offers growth opportunities within the agency. Required: high school diploma or GED, 18+, valid driver’s license, and ability to use smartphones, tablets, and computers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to use smartphone, tablet, and computer devices.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in daily living, transportation, medical/behavioral appointments and documentation.
• Maintain and update individual plans per state and agency requirements.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks and upkeep of living/work spaces.
• Ensure safe transportation and document vehicle maintenance as required.
• Administer medication and follow delegated duties under licensed personnel (Med Certification required).
