BAYADA Home Health Care in Cumberland County seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build confidence and independence.

You will participate in community activities, offer mentorship and companionship, assist with personal care, and transport clients to appointments. This part-time day position offers weekly pay and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• One year of experience supporting individuals with ID/DD preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to appointments and activities.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible
