Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, meals, recreation, learning, and fitness, while representing the needs and interests of those served.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills; Therap experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities including household chores, meal prep, recreational, learning, and physical fitness activities.
• Represent individuals' needs and contribute to program planning and implementation.
