Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional II in Covina, CA to support adults with developmental disabilities in daily living, health, and growth. You will work in a single site with non-remote duties and PM shifts Thu–Mon or Wed–Fri PM, with weekend AMs.

A compassionate, patient approach helps create a structured, empowering environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and 1 year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• 1 year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health conditions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hygiene, grooming, dietary, and dressing needs.
• Support clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clothing/undergarments when necessary.
• Prepare meals and complete cleanup.
• Follow daily routines outlined in the IPP.
• Redirect behaviors through activities and tasks.
• Provide safe transportation in company vans.
