Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in Simi Valley, CA. Shifts are 6 am-2 pm and 2 pm-10 pm, part-time.

Responsibilities include promoting health and safety, implementing IPPs, and supporting residents in daily activities. Qualifications include a high school diploma, at least 1 year of caregiving experience, and CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ${1} year of caregiving experience preferred.
• CPI certification preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months.
• First Aid/CPR preferred or willing to obtain within 30 days.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a California Driver’s License.
• Candidates must pass all pre-employment checks including background check.

Responsibilities

• Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as written in IPP.
• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with cleanup.
• Transport clients in company van when needed.
• Report incidents and communicate with administration.
