Job summary

Seven Hills Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional II to empower individuals to live meaningful, independent lives in our residential settings. You will support daily living activities, teach life skills, and implement ISP/Behavior Support Plans while promoting health and well-being.

You will train and mentor staff, assist with budgeting, and build strong relationships with families and guardians.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED/HiSET required.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills expected.
  • Ability to train and mentor other staff is valuable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support and care in a residential setting.
  • Teach life skills to foster independence at home and in the community.
  • Follow ISP and Behavior Support Plans; assist with personal care and medications.
  • Support community activities, appointments, and health needs; document progress.
  • Lead and mentor other staff; help with budgeting and personal funds.

Cape-based programs offer a $1/hour differential. Martha’s Vineyard programs offer a $4/hour differential, with the exception of the Franklin Street program, which offers $3/hour.
