Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with IDD in their homes and communities in East Bend or Winston-Salem, NC. The role involves helping with daily tasks, personal care, transportation, and scheduling, with documentation in an electronic health system.

We offer flexible schedules, part-time and as-needed opportunities, and paid training including CPR/first-aid and safety programs.

Qualificações

• Entry-level role; on-the-job training provided.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping, nutrition, and safety protocols.
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or willingness to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Care in the home of the individual and in the community.
• Assist with daily tasks: housekeeping, meal prep, cooking, cleaning; personal care.
• Transport client to appointments and run errands as needed.
• Help plan and organize the client’s schedule.
• Daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system.

As Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll play a critical role in carrying outthat mission by helping people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) complete everyday living tasks and achieve their goals.

Position details: Monday-Friday: flexible hours.
Location: East Bend or Winston‑Salem, NC.
Compensation: $12.00-$18.00/hour.

Your Role in Our Mission

• You will provide care in the home of the individual and the community they live in.
• Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning; personal care such as bathing and dressing; and employment support.
• You may transport the client to appointments and run errands.
• Help plan and organize their schedule.
• Daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system of record.
