Job summary

Sweetwater Care in California is hiring a Direct Support Professional I (DSP I) to support adults with disabilities in home and community settings. You will implement ISP, promote independence and assist with daily living tasks in person-centered environments.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 18+, a valid California driver’s license, reliable phone, strong English communication, and willingness to travel across Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Mileage is reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have valid California driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must read/write/communicate in English.
• Pass post-offer background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living per ISP and schedule.
• Support home tasks and personal care.
• Assist with medication management as needed.
• Travel within service areas; mileage reimbursement.
