Job summary

Easter Seals Goodwill ND, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional at Colfax, ND. This entry‑level role offers a flexible schedule from part‑time to full‑time, supporting adults and children with disabilities and their families.

You will assist individuals to reach personal goals, build social networks, and maintain health and safety while advocating for dignity and inclusion in the community.

Qualifications

• Interest in and/or experience supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals.
• Ability to work both as a team and independently; receptive to new ideas and problem solving.
• Belief that everyone can and must have an opportunity to learn and grow, regardless of disability.
• Age 16 or older.
• Ability to meet and maintain background investigation requirements, and commitment to a drug‑free, non‑violent environment for people supported and employees.
• Driver’s license may be required depending on program needs.

• Help maintain or re‑establish family connections.

• Advocate for people with disabilities and educate the community to treat them with dignity and respect by modeling positive attitudes and respectful communication.

Direct Support Professional – Location: Colfax, ND. Part Time to Full Time. Entry Level.

Overview

The Direct Support Professional will provide services to adults and children with disabilities and their families, carrying out the mission, vision and values of Easter Seals Goodwill ND, Inc.

Pay

Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour, based on experience.
