Job summary

Merakey in Indiana, PA seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist adults in their daily living activities, personal care, and mobility support in a community-based setting. No experience required; paid training is provided to new team members.

As part of Merakey's Home and Community Division, you will support clients with daily tasks, transportation, and learning life skills while ensuring safety, dignity, and well-being in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License.
• Must have high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
